Any coding agent
Built-in launchers for Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Grok Build, DeepSeek and more, each with its own folder and station. Anything else that runs in a terminal, from Gemini CLI to Aider, works in a shell tab.
Nest is a native Mac workspace for coding agents. Run Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode or any agent that works in a terminal, on your Mac or over SSH, and close the lid without losing a running session.
Coming soon for Apple silicon Macs. Free for one station.
Terminal, agent, browser and desktop tabs sit side by side, and the header shows which machine each tab is running on.

Reconnect opens existing terminals. Start new terminals creates separate terminals and new agent conversations from this setup.
Switch tabs, keep working, then save the whole arrangement as a setup. Simulated walkthrough · synthetic content
Built-in launchers for Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Grok Build, DeepSeek and more, each with its own folder and station. Anything else that runs in a terminal, from Gemini CLI to Aider, works in a shell tab.
Every terminal runs inside tmux on the station you choose. Close the tab, sleep the Mac or lose Wi‑Fi; reconnect and the process is still there.
Split panes and save the whole arrangement. Reconnect to the same terminals tomorrow, or start fresh ones from the saved setup.
Nest reconnects to the tmux sessions still running on each station. Your tabs and pane layouts are waiting where you left them.
Your Mac, or any machine you can reach over SSH. Nest reads your SSH config and Tailscale to find them.
A shell, any coding agent, a browser at localhost:3000 or a remote desktop. Pick the station and folder per tab.
Reattach to the terminals still running on each station, or open a saved setup with new terminals.
Your station must remain available. Nest doesn’t move running processes between machines.
One plan for your account, across all your workspaces.
$0 forever
One station for your everyday work.
$12 USD / month
One subscription for all your workspaces.
A station is a machine where your terminals and agents run. Viewing it from another Mac does not use another station slot. Your agent subscriptions, model usage and machines are separate.
Paid sign-up is not available yet. Follow the release status.
Nest is a native Mac workspace. It brings terminals and existing coding agents together with browser and desktop panes. You keep using each agent’s own account and permissions.
Closing a terminal tab detaches its view. The underlying tmux process can keep running on its station. Ending a terminal is a separate action. A station reboot ends its running processes.
No. Nest connects over SSH and can discover stations from your SSH configuration or Tailscale. The station still needs to be reachable and allow your SSH login.
Terminals and agents run on the station you choose. Browser pages use your Mac’s network. Desktop views connect to the selected station’s existing VNC server.
The cloud service is being prepared to sync workspace metadata, station references, and saved setups. The standard Mac client’s workspace sync does not include SSH keys, terminal output, agent credentials, or browser cookies. Opening work on another Mac is explicit.
The planned Free tier includes one enabled station per account, forever. Pro is planned at $12 USD per month per account for unlimited stations and Saved Setups. Paid sign-up is not available yet.
